The Joyful Doula – Meet Your Doula

Hi, my name is Amanda and I am the Joyful Doula! 🙂

I have been a birth Doula since 2021. It is an absolute joy to serve the families of Kansas City and surrounding suburbs. 

I was encouraged to go into doula work by my midwife as I met with her for my pregnancies. It has been a wonderful journey growing a business around helping families flourish.

Celeste O.  – Amanda Supported me emotionally, and physically, gave encouragement, had excellent ideas for changing positions, offered insight on what was going on, communicated with the birth team, and worked well with my husband to help him support me.
 
Cumorah S. – I am glad I hired Amanda to be my Birth Doula because it gave me a birth partner when I didn’t have one, and someone who would help my labor to progress. I just really appreciated her being there with me.

I provide support not only for you but also your Partner if you choose to have one at your birth. This could be your spouse, family member or a friend. 

The support of a loved one during birth is amazing. If, for whatever reason you choose not to have a Partner, (or your Partner is not able to be present) I can step into that role. You are going to have a wonderful birth!
